Home and School programmes
Additional programmes can be effective on their own but have an even bigger impact when paired with clinical treatment.
They not only boost development but also help individuals, families, and educators to understand therapy and support sensory and motor growth independently.
Home
Programmes
boost progress between clinic sessions
with tailored activities that use everyday items such as pillows, trampolines and playground equipment. Each programme includes a schedule, resources, reading lists, and a progress tracker, plus photos of activities demonstrated by our very own clients.
SCHOOL
Programmes
are customised for each individual child’s needs and are made to fit easily into the school day.
Therapists consider the curriculum, resources, and time limits, and provide clear instructions to ensure the program is done safely and confidently. The program includes a list of activities, how long they should take, what they do for the child, and photos to help school staff follow along.
Toileting
Programmes
aims to offer occupational therapy advice to parents whose child is struggling with toilet training.
Toileting is an essential function that requires a child to not only understand their interoceptive sense and register when they need the toilet, but to physically access and use a toilet too.
A delay in toilet training can lead to issues with bowel and bladder development, impact on social functioning and self-esteem.
Therapeutic Listening
Programmes
are a structured programme that uses specially modified music to stimulate and engage the auditory system.
This 12-week programme is able to improve sensory integration, attention, and emotional regulation, supporting children and young people who struggle with auditory processing or self-regulation.
